Allocution September 8

Thanks to all those who make this radio broadcast possible on the day of the Virgin of Charity, Mother and Patroness of all Cubans.

The mambises asked Pope Benedict XV that the celebration of the Virgin of Charity be on the day of her birth, September 8.

As today is the birthday of the Virgin, many sons and daughters of the Virgin and many who have “Charity” as their first or middle name, celebrate their name day, we congratulate everyone on this special day.

(Song)

The Virgin was chosen to be the Mother of the Son of God made man. She carried him in her mother’s womb, gave birth to him, saw him grow, heard him preach, stood at the foot of the cross, contemplated him resurrected, prayed with the early Church and now he is in the house of heaven and prays for his children.

We join the faith and devotion of Juan Cristóbal Nápoles Fajardo, the Cucalambé, singing and praying his tenths to the Virgin of Charity.

On a high hill,

Whose picturesque summit

You see it shine in the light

Of the king star when it appears,

Like a white dove

That flies in the immensity,

Rises with humility

And a blessed simplicity,

The holy temple that inhabits

The Virgin of Charity…

We too have been chosen for a family mission. The Virgin accompanies the spouses in their family and loving mission.

Dear husbands,

How wonderful that God created them to fall in love, get married and start a beautiful family!

How wonderful to live together for so many years of natural, faithful, fruitful and sacramental marriage!

How wonderful to have overcome, united, so many difficulties, to have suffered illnesses, sorrows, pain together, and love to have grown in the midst of so many storms!

How wonderful to have enjoyed so many joys, parties, celebrations of yourselves, your children, grandchildren and other family members!

How wonderful that today’s love is greater than the first love of the wedding!

How wonderful to love each other today more than yesterday but not as much as tomorrow!

How wonderful the love of God for you!

How wonderful your love for God!

What a wonderful marriage!

May the love of the Virgin continue to help you and make you grow in peace and family harmony. Amen.

(Song)

Many husbands have had the joy of being father and mother.

Many husbands today await the blessed fruit of their love.

Dear spouses who are expecting a child:

The best thing that has happened to them is that, from their mutual love, a blessed fruit has come to life that is in the mother’s womb.

This first joy of knowing that you are mom and dad will multiply week after week as you notice the growth of the blessed fruit and will reach its culmination when the blessed fruit of love is born and new stages of joy, sacrifice and dedication will begin, to the extent that May the new creature grow in stature, wisdom and goodness.

For the wonder of this blessed fruit, we all thank God, creator of Love, life, and natural, faithful and fruitful marriage.

We place this gift from God in the hands of the Virgin Mary of Charity so that She can take care of him and show him the Way, the Truth and the Life that is Jesus Christ and thus be happy in the midst of a family united forever.

The blessing of God the Father who made you mom and dad, the blessing of Jesus Christ, our greatest happiness in this life and in the eternal, the blessing of the Holy Spirit, who can achieve a happy birth and a beautiful education, descend upon all of you and about all families.

(Song)

The Virgin knows the suffering of spouses who have not been able to have children. Today we pray to the Virgin for all these marriages:

God save you, Mary…

In our homes we light a candle so that the Virgin brings the expected happiness to these spouses.

(Song)

The Virgin is the path of love and breaks the chain of resentment.

An angry senior minister yelled at his company director.

The director came home and yelled at his wife, accusing her that she was spending too much because there was a large lunch on the table.

Lu wife yelled at daughter because she broke a plate.

The daughter kicked the dog because it made her trip. The dog ran out and bit a woman who was passing by on the street, because she was blocking the exit.

That woman went to the hospital to get the vaccine and have her wound treated and she yelled at the young doctor, because the vaccine hurt when it was applied.

The young doctor came home and yelled at his mother because the food was not to his liking.

His mother, tolerant, caressed his hair and said, “Son, I promise that tomorrow I will make your favorite food.”

“You work a lot, you’re tired and you need a good night’s sleep. I’m going to change the sheets on your bed so you can rest in peace. Tomorrow you will feel better.”

He blessed his son and left the room, leaving him alone with his thoughts.

At that moment, the Circle of Hate was interrupted, because it collided with Tolerance, Sweetness, Forgiveness and Love.

If you are one of those who entered a Circle of Hate, remember that you can break it with Tolerance, Sweetness, Forgiveness and Love, just as God and the Virgin teach us.

(Song)

The Word of God that the Virgin lived fully speaks to each of us today, in the First Letter of the Apostle Saint John, chapter 4, verses 7 to 21.

How will all Cubans be happy? If we live like the Virgin in her house and town of Nazareth, the love of the spouses will become stronger and nothing and no one will be able to break it. The love of the father and mother will show the children how availability and sacrifice for others lead us to true happiness.

Pregnant women will feel greater affection, dedication and dedication to the blessed fruit of their womb.

Mothers-in-law and daughters-in-law, fathers-in-law and sons-in-law will be treated as parents and children.

The sick will feel more cared for and loved.

The banded brothers will return to the fraternity.

No one will take revenge and forgiveness will be present and great happiness will flood the people of Cuba.

(Song)

Saint Mary of Charity, Mother of the Lord Jesus, we venerate you with special affection and love.

We praise you, Mother and Patroness of the Cuban people, because you have been present in all the struggles, sorrows and joys of your people.

Mambisa Virgin, proclaimed and venerated by our veterans, we ask that today as yesterday, you be present in the life of your beloved people, this people that seeks love, understanding and sincere union of all Cubans.

We offer you the effort of our Christians, the work of our workers and peasants, the study of our young people, the smile of our children, the pain of our sick, the vigilant and silent care of our mothers, the loneliness of so many brothers, widows and orphans, the generous dedication of our martyrs and deceased, the noble and simple sentiment of our people.

Mother of Charity, may the prayers we present to you reach your altar of El Cobre, so loved and venerated. Amen.

(Song)

The Apostle Saint John in his gospel, chapter 19, verses 25 to 27, tells us how Christ gives us the Virgin as our mother.

If someone has difficulties and has lost hope, look at the image of the Virgin, the image of the Virgin and She tells them: “Do not be afraid, maybe I am not here, I am your mother.”

If anyone wants us to pray for a sick family member or friend, call 78624000 and say the name of the sick person. We will place this name under the image of the Virgin of Charity in her Church of Charity in Havana on September 8. Something nice will happen.

(Song)

You, how kind and pious,

you console the fierce trance

of the shipwrecked sailor

who fervently trusts in you.

You, whose name guides him

to the port of salvation:

You, for whom they are never

the sad vain cries,

do not deny the Cubans

your sublime protection.

The blessing of Almighty God, Father, Son and Holy Spirit, descend upon all Cubans and remain forever. Amen.
